Nigh de Light
In 2006, the four came together in Sapporo, Hokkaido to form a rock band to sing songs of hope. The band is made of Vocal: Shouichi Hirano, Guitar: Enoku Mitsuhashi, Base: Hironori Nagasawa and Drums: Michiya Tanaka. In January of 2012, “Owaranai Yume (Never Ending Dream)” was selected as the official theme song of Consadore Sapporo Football Team. “Ishiya Seiyaku”, well known for their “Shiroi Koibito” chocolates, also used the same song as a television commercial. In the same year, they released their first album, “Physction” (to sound the siren in a world that is filled with lies). The album that is filled with many powerful messages in its lyrics have sold over 3000 copies within the first 8 months. In January 2013, “Niji (Rainbow)” began to be used as the BGM for Sapporo Daimaru. In April 2013, the 3rd single “Kimi wa Sorede Subarashii (You are beautiful as who you are)” went on sale and at the same time began the nation wide tour. They were successful in going around 7 cities holding 21 concerts to a total of 3000 people. In July 2013, they participated in a mega outdoor festival “Join Alive”. They continue to deliver and send a message of “hope for tomorrow” and “ courage to live” through their music in Hokkaido. Just recently, Matthew Murton, a professional baseball player for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan has started to use the song “stain” as his theme song too.
